Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. These are the Baltic Provinces. I recommend the 1959 paper by M. Malowist titled "The Economic and Social Development of the Baltic Countries from the Fifteenth to Seventeenth Centuries." It's mostly about cereal grain production and its impact in socio-political arena prior to the rise of the USSR. Maybe some stuff about whores too. It's gonna be on the exam, fuckers so read it now!
